WHAT
user research on the iMow and designing a new interface and app
In this project we had to optimize the interaction and user experience of an existing product through iterative cycles of usage evaluations and redesigns. Our product was the iMow, an independent robot lawnmower which can be controlled through the on-device interface or the app.

We did an extensive analysis of the user interaction with the current iMow interface and its app, including interviews, observations and a cognitive jogthrough. Through design iterations we came up with new designs for the on-device interface and the app. The final designs were tested with users.
